New York-based, indie-pop group BAILEN, comprised of Julia Bailen on vocals and guitar, David Bailen on vocals and drums and Daniel Bailen on vocals and bass, returns to the festival this year, bringing their power trio of stellar musicianship and emotional lyricism to Cape May Convention Hall.
Savor a delicious jazz brunch with Paula Johns at the Shore Club. Paula is an accomplished cabaret singer and jazz vocalist who hails from Philadelphia. She is often compared to Ella, and some of the great contemporaries of that era, but Paula brings her own distinctive panache to each song she sings...especially the songs from The Great American Songbooks of Porter, Rogers & Hart, Jobim, Bacharach and others.
The New Jersey Symphony Chamber Players will perform as a woodwind quintet for the Cape May Music Festival. Made up of members Bart Feller, flute; Bob Ingliss, oboe; Juan Esteban Martinez, clarinet; Andrea Menousek, horn; Bob Wagner, bassoon, this quintet will delight audiences with a program including Jacques Ibert’s playful Trois Pièces Brèves, Valerie Coleman’s anthem of freedom and unity “Umoja,” and Franz Danzi’s lyrically beautiful Quintet in G minor, amongst other pieces.
SNACKTIME is Philadelphia’s already beloved seven-piece band. Created in Summer 2020, the group began performing free shows in Philadelphia's Rittenhouse Square that quickly attracted huge crowds. This progressed to sold-out headlining shows, support for national touring artists, and slots at major music festivals.
